- Facebook is testing a ‘Popular Pages in Your Area’ feature: Perhaps Facebook’s attempt to get its users to like more pages, some people have begun to notice a sidebar module in their News Feed displaying popular pages that are liked by people in their area.
- Facebook is preparing a money-transfer service: According to a source in the financial services industry, Facebook is planning a European-wide financial service that allows end users to transfer and store money via Facebook.
- Twitter has purchased social data provider Gnip: On Tuesday, Twitter announced its purchase of social data provider Gnip, which led to an increase in Twitter’s shares by 11 percent.
- Pinterest is planning a “Choose Your Own Adventure” product announcement for April 24: Though we’re not certain what Pinterest is about to unveil, it’s likely a new effort to connect users with pins that match their interests, corresponding with what Pinterest’s head of engineering, Jon Jenkins, claimed was on the timeline for 2014.

- You can now turn your Google+ posts into interactive display ads: +Post ads have officially launched, allowing advertisers to place Google+ posts onto Google’s display advertising network. Does this sound too good to be true? There’s a catch, so don’t get your hopes up just yet, small business owners! This feature is only available to pages with at least 1,000 followers.
